Some outbound links on this site — mainly in the Buying Guide and server-hosting comparisons — are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you.

What that does not change

• Recommendations are written before any affiliate programme is joined. A product with no commission still gets recommended if it is the better pick.
• Prices, specs and renewal terms are stated as observed on the date in the page's verification badge, whether or not the link is monetised.
• Negative findings stay published. We do not remove a criticism because the vendor is an affiliate partner.

How to spot an affiliate link

Affiliate links are marked inline on the page and carry a tracking parameter in the URL (ref=, aff=, ?via= or a network redirect domain). Every page containing one links back here.

No affiliate relationship exists with game publishers: no commission is paid by Iron Gate Studio or Coffee Stain Publishing for any coverage on this site.
