How this is calculated
- One floor tile = a 2m×2m wood floor piece. Perimeter walls are counted from width and depth; interior partitions are ignored.
- Each storey adds a full ring of walls (3 pieces high) plus a floor deck for the level above.
- Wall material decides the piece type: wood uses 2 wood each, core wood uses 2 core wood each, stone uses stone + iron nails.
- Roof pieces scale with footprint: a 26° roof needs about 1.2× the floor area, a 45° roof about 1.5×. Flat/open adds none.
- This is a planning estimate, not a blueprint. Round up and carry ~15% spare for slopes, doorframes and mistakes.
