This is the quick, prep-only version. For what is known and what is pending, see the Fader guide.

Verified: Fader’s summoning offering (3 Bells at a coliseum) and damage-type resistances are confirmed. This page still covers preparation only, so the actual fight tactics live on the full guide. See our verification workflow.

Preparation checklist

  • Beat Yagluth and get the Torn Spirit — the path to the Wisp Fountain, The Queen and the endgame biomes (Ashlands, Deep North).
  • Mistlands-tier gear and resistance powers before you enter the Ashlands.
  • Fire resistance and a planned route through the lava to reach the coliseum.
  • 3 Bells — each crafted from 3 Bell Fragments — to place at the coliseum when you are ready.

Before you summon

  1. The Ashlands biome itself is the difficulty check — lava, heat and charred enemies kill unprepared parties before Fader appears.
  2. Locate the coliseum using the Vegvisir in the Charred Fortress.
  3. Place 3 Bells at the coliseum — each Bell is crafted from 3 Bell Fragments.

What Fader drops

The documented drops are the Fader Relic (x5) — the Ashlands progression item, in the same role the Wishbone, Dragon Tear and Torn Spirit play earlier — plus the Fader Trophy. Fader is resistant to pierce and immune to fire, spirit and stagger (he cannot be staggered), so bring blunt, slash, frost, lightning or poison damage and keep heat/fire protection up for the environment.

Frequently asked questions

How do I summon Fader?
At a coliseum in the Ashlands, found via the Vegvisir in the Charred Fortress. The offering is 3 Bells — each Bell is crafted from 3 Bell Fragments.
Should I go to the Ashlands before beating Yagluth?
No. The Torn Spirit (via Yagluth) opens the path to the Ashlands and the Deep North, and you want Mistlands-tier gear and resistance powers before facing the Ashlands' heat, lava and charred enemies.
