Gear checklist
- Blunt or slash weapon — he has no real weakness, so these land at full value. Skip pierce (quarter damage) and fire (half damage) as your main damage.
- Fire resistance mead for the meteor phase and burning ground.
- Summon with 5× Fuling Totem; clear the surrounding Plains first.
The fight loop
- Kill the skeletons the instant they rise.
- Dodge the ground slam shockwave.
- Move off the burning ground during the meteor swarm.
- Land blunt or slash damage in the safe windows.
Common mistakes
- Bringing pierce as your main damage — it only deals quarter damage. Fire is resisted (half damage), so fire arrows are a slow way to win.
- Ignoring the skeleton adds until you are overwhelmed.
- Summoning without clearing the Plains, so fuling or a lox join the fight.
