Moder Boss Guide — Summon, Fight, Drops
How to summon Moder with three Dragon Eggs, survive the ice breath and blizzard, and use the Dragon Tears and the tailwind, carry-weight and frost-resistance power she grants.

Where to find Moder
Moder is the fourth Forsaken and rules the Mountain. Her altar sits on a summit, and you call her with three Dragon Eggs — heavy items that spawn on exposed peaks and stone ledges across the biome, so the collection trip is a fight against the frost as much as against the drakes guarding them.
Attack pattern
Moder is an aerial boss, which changes the shape of the fight entirely: she circles, then commits. Expect a dive-bomb melee run, a wide cone of ice breath that punishes standing still, and a local blizzard that layers frost damage on top of the biome’s own cold. The real threat is positional — the arena is an open summit with drops on every side.
Fight tips
- Fire is the answer. Frost damage does nothing to her, so leave the frost arrows at camp.
- Fight the arena, not just the boss: keep your back to open ground and never trade hits near a cliff lip.
- Ranged is safer than melee here — the dive attack is hard to read up close, and a bow lets you reposition while she turns.
- Sort frost damage first. If the Mountain is still chewing your health during the fight, you are losing twice.
Drops and Forsaken Power
Defeating Moder grants Dragon Tears (×10), the progression item that opens the Plains route, and the Moder Trophy for the offering stone at your base. Claiming the Moder Power gives a tailwind while sailing (it lasts 300 seconds), a large carry-weight increase, extra movement speed and frost resistance — a genuine quality-of-life buff for the long ocean crossings and ore hauls the later biomes demand. Frequently asked questions
- What is Moder weak to?
- Fire damage. She is immune to frost, so frost weapons and frost arrows are wasted on her.
- How many Dragon Eggs do I need?
- Three, offered at the mountain altar in the Mountain biome. Eggs spawn on exposed peaks and ledges.
- What does Moder drop?
- Dragon Tears (×10) — the item that opens the next stage of progression — plus the Moder Trophy. Her Forsaken Power grants a tailwind while sailing (lasts 300 seconds), a large carry-weight increase, extra movement speed and frost resistance.
