The Queen Boss Guide — Mistlands Summon, Fight, Drops
How to summon and beat The Queen in the Mistlands — the Sealbreaker, the Infested Citadel arena, the Majestic Carapace drop, and her resistance profile.

Where to find The Queen
The Queen is the sixth Forsaken and the first boss of the 1.0 endgame progression (Mistlands → Ashlands → Deep North). She is sealed inside an Infested Citadel in the Mistlands, and you open her chamber with a Sealbreaker — crafted at the Galdr Table from 9 Sealbreaker Fragments that drop in the biome’s Infested Mines. The first fight needs no offering; to re-fight her you offer 3 Seeker Soldier Trophies. In a solo fight she has 12,500 HP. None of it is reachable without a Wisplight — the permanent fog makes navigation and arena-reading impossible otherwise.
Resistance profile (1.0): The Queen is resistant to pierce and immune to spirit; blunt, slash, fire, frost, lightning and poison all land at normal (x1). Her Forsaken Power values below are confirmed from the Call to Arms rework (patch 0.221.4).
Attack pattern
The Queen fights you in a closed arena, which removes the retreat option every earlier boss gave you. She mixes direct melee and area attacks with a steady stream of summoned seekers, so the room fills while your attention is on her. Positioning around the citadel’s pillars and structures is the core skill of the fight.
Fight tips
- Bring your best weapon tier. This is the fight that punishes arriving under-geared, not under-skilled.
- Eat a full health and eitr meal set and carry resistance meads — the closed arena means you cannot reset to eat safely.
- Clear the seekers as they appear; in a confined room an add is what turns a dodge into a hit.
- Fight from structures and pillars to break line of sight and buy windows, rather than trading in the open floor.
Drops and Forsaken Power
Defeating The Queen grants Majestic Carapace, the material that unlocks the final crafting tier, and The Queen Trophy. She is resistant to pierce and immune to spirit, so bring a weapon that does blunt, slash, fire, frost, lightning or poison rather than a pure pierce build. Her Forsaken Power, confirmed from the Call to Arms rework (patch 0.221.4), gives 100% increased Eitr regeneration, 100% reduced sneak cost and 50% poison resistance — the power that makes a magic build work rather than stall, and the gate to the very end of the progression line where the 1.0 endgame biomes (Ashlands, Deep North) become the next objective rather than a death sentence. Full list: Forsaken Powers.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I summon The Queen?
- Craft a Sealbreaker (9 Sealbreaker Fragments from the Infested Mines) and use it in an Infested Citadel. The first fight needs no offering; to re-fight her, offer 3 Seeker Soldier Trophies. You need a Wisplight to navigate the biome at all.
- What does The Queen drop?
- Majestic Carapace, which unlocks the final crafting tier, plus The Queen Trophy. Her Forsaken Power doubles Eitr regeneration, makes sneaking cost no stamina and grants poison resistance.
- Is The Queen harder than Yagluth?
- Yes — she is the first boss of the 1.0 endgame progression, fought in a closed arena with summons and area attacks, and she expects the best gear the Mistlands can produce.
